2 years old!
Happy Birthday Aaron and Audrey!
Last Friday morning we went to get A&A out of bed armed with helium balloons, a present to open, and singing Happy Birthday. They opened their beloved shopping cart and tried their best to share the new toy. I looked at Nathan and said, “you shouldn’t have to try so hard to share the birthday present toy that you just opened!” We decided right then and there to go straight to Toys R Us when it opened and buy another one! They loved pushing around their carts and saying, “I going shopping, mommy.” “I going grocery store. See ya later.” “I going Urbana library buy something.”
Unfortunately the most recent sick bug canceled our birthday play date, but A&A still had two friends each come for a party on Saturday along with their IL and IN family. We gathered notes for a time capsule for them to open in ten years, 2010. If you would like to send along a note for their time capsule, let me know! We are so enamored with our sweet two year olds and are so thankful for the blessing they are to our family.
